Who is this product intended for?

The 15th Club is ideal for anyone who likes to carry their bag. A cupholder is something that carriers have been missing out on compared to the golf cart and push cart users.

However, those who generally use a golf cart or push cart might still find the ability to record their shot to be valuable. A push cart user could use The 15th Club at any time to record a shot, and every golfer can use it on the driving range to analyze and improve their swing. Perhaps the benefits of The 15th Club could even persuade them to walk the course instead!

How is it assembled?

The product arrives in 3 main parts (top, middle, and bottom). The middle rod has screws coming out each end, with Loctite pre-applied. The top and bottom rods are threaded, so just tighten each of theme to either side of the middle rod!

It only takes a minute, and it's impossible to mess it up.

Which bag slot should I use?

The 15th Club definitely prefers an upper slot in the bag. Sandwiching it between a driver and 3-wood works great!

Keeping it at the top makes it easier to utilize its features. The aluminum shaft is approximately 41" long, which is similar to that of a fairway wood.

How is the cupholder intended to be used?

The cupholder feature is intended to hold your drink while you are hitting a shot. When you put your drink into The 15th Club, your hand is just inches from the club you are about to grab. It can be difficult to find a grassy spot that won't spill your drink, and drinks are often left behind if they are out of sight, which makes this feature surprisingly useful!

If your drink isn't full, you can walk with it in The 15th Club with minimal splashing. Gyroscopes and swivels simply do not reduce the splashing, and generally make it worse (I tried).

What drinks will it hold?

It was designed to have a snug fit on regular and slim aluminum cans, since those are the most common drinks on a golf course.

Plastic water bottles and glass bottles also fit but are not as snug. The maximum diameter that can be held is 2.6", so it can't hold larger drinks like Gatorade bottles. These larger drinks generally have caps, so they are easily stored in the golf bag.

Which phones will it hold?

It will hold any iPhone. The slot dimensions are 0.5" x 3.3", so if your phone's thickness is less than half an inch, and the width is less than 3.3 inches, it will fit.

If you have a larger phone with a particularly bulky case, the case might need to be removed.

How do I record the best video?

Line up your bag 2 to 4 club lengths behind your ball. Further distance from the bag will give you a wider view. When you start recording and put your phone into the slot, you can adjust the positioning based on where the ball is.

Don't worry if the video is not perfectly level! You can easily crop the video to the perfect angle after the fact.

Keeping video at 1x zoom helps ensure that there is no distortion in your video.

What should I record?

The 15th Club is great to record:

  • Scenic or challenging shots on the course
  • Range sessions to analyze and improve your swing (Slo-Mo is helpful)
  • Memorable moments in a team scramble, such as recording the green
  • Entire rounds. It is quick and easy to record every shot!

Golf is a wonderful game, and reliving these moments can help us improve our game and help us make it to the next round.

Can I adjust the angle?

The 15th Club cannot change its angle, since adding moving parts to a product like this greatly reduces reliability. Keeping it one solid piece of plastic means there are less parts of it that can fail. The current configuration is extremely reliable and robust because of this.

The angle that was chosen was right in the sweet spots for all bag types. Some bags stand up taller than others, but The 15th Club should work for everyone!

Why not just use a tripod to record?

The benefit over a traditional tripod, is that The 15th Club requires no setup, and it allows you to be discrete about your recording.

On the course, using a tripod isn't going to make the group behind you very happy. You can record any shot without slowing anybody down.

On the driving range, nobody likes the pressure that a tripod applies when everyone else on notices you are recording.

Can I see some examples of its use?

The best place to see its use would be on social media! Click the links below to check out our Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, and X!

Why does it come in 3 parts?

We wanted to offer nice packaging for this product, and a 48" long box was not feasible for this. Shipping would also be a nightmare, so having it fit into a smaller box made more sense.

This was a bit of a design challenge to come up with a reliable connection, but it ended up working out nicely.

Is there free shipping?

Yes! Shipping is free within the United States.

What is the return policy?

Returns are available within 30 days the product arriving. If it has been assembled and the Loctite has cured, the rods likely cannot be taken apart. In this case, returns may not be available due to shipping feasibility. In some cases, partial or full refunds may be issued.
